Chapter 7.1: Aloof Top Student (7)

The fantasy-style room was filled with ambiguity and embarrassment.

You-You secretly glanced at Mu Qing-Xue, who was sitting on the pink chair with a cold expression on her face. She felt very uneasy and said, “Um, sorry…”

Midnight was the dorm’s curfew time.

“Student Qing Xue, looks like you can only stay here tonight.”

Awkwardly swallowing the lump in her throat, You-You twiddled her fingers, her voice timid and hesitant, “It’s all my fault for not copying the paper fast enough.”

Under the bright, luminous light, the girl dressed in blue and white uniform seemed to glow all over. Especially her neck and clavicle that had become exposed when she dipped her head. The clean, white skin makes one feel like biting into it to see if it’s truly as tender as it seems.

Gulping, she looked at the gorgeous Bai You-You through the corner of her eyes and almost couldn’t control herself.

Maybe because this place was too pink, and she’s always been living an ascetic life, right now she felt like she needed to quench the fire in her body.

Mu Qing-Xue calculated the time it would take to complete the papers so that she could stay the night in an open and honest manner, but she, who is cold and aloof, naturally wouldn’t admit to having such thoughts.

It was silly to treat the girl she liked and wanted to seduce contemptuously, but Mu Qing-Xue maintained her icy, cold flower expression.

Even her voice seemed gentler when she was speaking to You-You.

It seemed as though the girl didn’t care what happened to her.

After hearing Mu Qing-Xue’s tired tone, You-You breathed a light sigh of relief and pointed to the pink bathroom door. “Student Qing-Xue, why don’t you go wash up first. It’s already late,  I’ll get you a pajama set that I haven’t used.”

You-You, who knew about Qing-Xue’s obsession with cleanliness, specially emphasized the last part of the sentence. But, she didn’t know that Mu Qing-Xue was already thinking of eating her tofu, so wearing her pajamas would be something that she’d accept readily as it would be like having a taste of her.

Mu Qing-Xue obediently stood up to go to the bathroom, but as she passed You-You, her fingers brushed against You-You’s clavicle.

“Ah?”

You-You blushed, feeling a little muddled.

When she touched her clavicle however, she didn’t find anything.

When Mu Qing-Xue entered the bathroom, she lifted her index finger to her mouth, but her expression didn’t change. It remained expressionless. 

Xixi, why do I feel like Mu-Qing Xue is behaving weirdly?

The way she had suddenly touched me was actually quite startling.

【……】

Seeing the way that the love and blackening values are rising made Xixi contemplate, it was best not to tell the host.

 【Host, after scanning, this is indeed Mu Qing-Xue.】

You-You: ….

She’d just spoken casually and didn’t expect that Xixi would be so reliable.

It was truly heartwarming.

Right now, since Mu Qing-Xue wasn’t there, You-You had regained some of her calmness.

She sprinted to the closet and flung the wooden doors open. When she saw the pink and crimson garments inside, she squealed in excitement.

Wife is a beauty, truly very pretty.

Although she’d already seen them in her memory before, when she saw it with her own eyes, her little girl heart couldn’t contain its excitement.

‘I really admire the original body! I should follow her nature and live boldly! Unlike me who was always lectured by Bai Qu that such clothes must never exceed one-third of my closet.’

As her little hands flitted over the clothes, You-You’s face flushed, and she blinked excitedly.

With difficulty, You-You tore her eyes from the clothes, and promised herself that she would find a pink bathrobe to wear  later.

From the pile of unused clothes, she took out a pair of relatively plain pajamas and a pink bathrobe. She put the clean set of clothes in the hamper, and told Mu Qing-Xue, “Student Qing-Xue, I’ve put the clothes out here for you! You can pick them once you’re done.”

There was no answer, but You-You didn’t mind it.

She took out her phone, and searched for animated shows that had been trending. Then, she sat down at the table to watch it while passing time.

“I’ve finished bathing”

After an unknown period of time, she heard a slightly hoarse female voice that caught her attention.

Following the sound, she saw Mu Qing-Xue, whose hair was still dripping, standing at the bathroom door holding her school uniform; her eyes looking gentle, innocent, and pitiful.

When Mu Qing-Xue saw that You-You was frozen in place, her deep, gloomy eyes showed an elusive smile.

Looks like her standing at the mirror fiddling for a long time wasn’t in vain. Mu Qing-Xue was very confident of her appearance.

As she approached the girl, Mu Qing-Xue tilted her head deliberately.

Sure enough, her shoulder-length, inky black hair fell on her cheeks mischievously, and gave her a charming countenance.

“I can wash them, but where is the washing machine?”

Leaning over to look at her, Mu Qing-Xue didn’t seem to realize that You-You has already fallen into her love trap.

A large expanse of her chest was clearly exposed to You-You.

Biting her thin, pink lips that had been moisturized while she was in the bath, Mu Qing-Xue’s eyes were cold; a stark contrast to her expression and attitude at that moment.

You You, who wasn’t completely straight, blushed a blood red(?).

Even her white earlobes turned red.

“It’s uh.. On the balcony.”

With trembling fingers, she pointed to the glass door next to the bathroom that had been obscured by a dark red curtain. You-You’s eyes trembled, and she dared not look at Mu Qing-Xue.

‘Xixi, I think I’m becoming abnormal. Save me…’

Obviously, I’m a girl. So, how come my heart beats faster due to Mu Qing-Xue’s words and actions?

Could it be because I decided to fall in love with Mu Qing Xue?

I didn’t expect that it would happen so quickly.

Aiya! I actually like Mu Qing-Xue; this ungrateful woman.
