Xixi had said that she’s got two ways to earn points for completing tasks.

One, she can follow the main system’s command and opt for the task target in each world then determine the points based on the task target’s love value.

The other way was to follow the original plot and continue living a little white flower’s life. Then, the points will be calculated according to how satisfactory the completion of the storyline is.

That means, if she wants to earn points in this world, she would either have to fall in love with Mu Qing Xue, or follow the original plot.

But Xixi, aren’t there two versions of the plot? Am I supposed to follow the original or the derivative plot?

On the podium, the math teacher who wore gold-rimmed glasses, was writing a math formula on the blackboard enthusiastically. On the other hand, You-You looked like she’d got stars in her eyes. If you looked beside her, you’d see her deskmate seriously taking notes.

Her handwriting looked neat and beautiful.

[Host, this kind of thing is out of our control.]

It was the same for Xixi’s former hosts. If they didn’t want to follow the original plot, they were either replaced by other characters who originally didn’t have the protagonist halo in the story or other transmigrators.

【The task target of this task is Mu Qing Xue.】

If she falls in love with the host, then naturally, they would follow the original plot.

If she falls in love with the other reborn character, then naturally they’ll be following the derivative plot.

Okay then, I understand.

With a quiet sigh, You-You stopped chatting with the system and turned her gaze to Mu Qing-Xue.

—— There’s no doubt that Mu Qing-Xue was favored by the heavens. As the true female lead, she is the undisputable ‘Daughter of the Heavens’. Whomever she falls in love with, like the original Bai You-You or Qu Lan Qin, would naturally be able to become a main character in this novel world.

The opposite, would happen to anyone she disliked or hated. Their life would be filled with hardships and sufferings.

Thinking of the original Bai You-You’s fate, You-You was effectively horrified, and she bit her lip to prevent herself from crying.

No! She shouldn’t be thrown into the sea to feed the fish.

“What happened to you?”

She couldn’t ignore the blatant stare directed at her no matter how much she wanted to. Mu Qing-Xue tilted her head slightly, deliberately ignoring the joy that blossomed in her heart.

Looking at You-You’s pale face,  a pair of clear and beautiful pupils brimming with water, as if the next second will fall into tears, Mu Qing-Xue pursed her lips, her  expression looking unnaturally anxious. “I didn’t understand the lesson and thought of something sad.”

Although she wanted to tease You-You, she didn’t like it when You-You cried inexplicably. It was out of her control.

You-You silently shook her head.

She picked up a pen and pretended to write in her book, then proceeded to ask Xixi:

Xixi, why did Mu Qing-Xue fall in love with Qu Lan Qin later on in the story? In the original plot, those two didn’t have any relationship right?

[…..]

[Host, I’m a system so I don’t know much about relationships.]

[However, based on data alone, regardless of appearance or ability, the reborn Qu Lan Qin definitely one-upped the original Bai You-You]

You-You: ….

So, just because Bai You You is inferior to the reborn Qu Lan Qin, her original lover, her original life, deserved to be snatched away from her?

‘Bai Qu’s reasoning says otherwise.’

Bai You-You just couldn’t resist complaining.

You-You carefully wrote Bai Qu’s name on a spare sheet of paper and earnestly muttered, “He didn’t despise me for my low IQ.”

“Although he always said I was useless, at least I still knew that he loved me.”

“If not for him, I would have been chased out of the Bai family and would have been abandoned.”

“My IQ is a source of shame and disgrace to the Bai family.”

“Only Bai Qu was good to me”

“Only brother.”

With each spoken word, although Xixi was a system which had no emotional mechanism, it could hear that Bai You-You’s tone held deep feelings for Bai Qu and even a little loneliness.

With each word she spoke, although she wasn’t using Xixi’s emotional assistance(1), you could hear that Bai You You’s tone held deep feelings for Bai Qu and even a little loneliness.

(1) Emotional assistance is something that enhances the emotions that Bai You You shows or expresses.

Mu Qing-Xue was only afraid that at that time, she would not focus on her anymore, because of reading and studying.

When the bell rang, You-You and Mu Qing-Xue went back to the classroom together.  Facing the memory fragments of the original Bai You-You, she went to her seat to pack her things and politely said goodbye to the original’s seatmates.

“The class’ headteacher asked me to sit with Qing-Xue, so Xiao Ling, you have to get along with Xin at the same table, don’t cause trouble okay?”

“What?! You’re going to sit with Mu Qing-Xue? That monster who’s got facial paralysis?” Xiao Ling exclaimed in a low voice as she anxiously grasped You-You’s arm.

“Are you looking for death?! Do you know that Mu Qing-Xue is sick?! Can it be contagious? Won’t you be a dead Bai You-You in the end?!”

 “Sick?”

“Yes, Mu Qing-Xue has an infectious disease. This secret has been spread in class. You don’t know it yet, do you?”

You-You:“….”

Seeing the pretty girl spouting such slanderous words in a serious manner, You-You’s mouth twitched and she poked the girl unceremoniously in the face.

“Stupid, if Qing-Xue really has an infectious disease, will the school let her attend classes? And Xiao Ling, this is not like you, spreading false rumors.”

She is a very cute girl, but she wants to learn from those wicked villainesses in the TV series. You-You pursed her lips and said with a sullen face…

“Don’t watch those dog blood palace dramas anymore.”

“The more you watch, the more your IQ drops.”

“Classmate Qing-Xue never watched it, that’s why  she was so smart.”

Xiao Ling:“….”

“Just go! I won’t stop you!”

Even if she misunderstood, she shouldn’t compare her with that kind of person, OK?

    You-You shook her head.

You-You began to move her pile of things to Mu Qing-Xue’s desk.

Originally, Mu Qing-Xue was seated alone at the back of the classroom, with no deskmate. The male student on the left in front of her didn’t like to talk to her. He was a quiet stranger.

In this class, Mu Qing-Xue is an invisible person.

Although she has good grades and good looks, her cold and aloof temperament still keeps everyone away, and gradually, everyone forgot about her existence.

Finally finished moving her things to the empty space beside Mu Qing-Xue, You-You sat on the chair and looked at Mu Qing-Xue with a grin. Since entering the classroom, Mu Qing-Xue has suddenly become aloof and cold.

“Classmate Qing-Xue, we will be at the same table in the future.”

Seeing You-You’s unbothered and happy face, Mu Qing-Xue was weirdly relieved. She didn’t help her with her things just now, and deliberately put up a cold front. She thought she would be angry and awkward.

“You, are you not afraid that I will spread the disease to you?”

Although Xiao Ling said it quietly just now, looking at her behavior, she could probably guess what Xiao Ling said to You-You.

With her fingers clenched into fists, Mu Qing-Xue looked at You-You cautiously, but she thought darkly in her heart: If she is like those people, if she is like that, then she, she just…

“How come? Qing-Xue is clearly healthy!”

The girl’s soft and determined words were music to her ears, and Mu Qing-Xue’s calm eyes rippled slightly, her eyes that were cold as ice, were even colder now.

She lowered her head slightly to hide her expression.

    No, she is not healthy.

She was caught by a poison called possessiveness, also called destruction.

At this moment, this poison is already in and deep in her marrow.

Bai—Qu?

The surname is Bai, is that the name of her family?

Silently remembering this name in her heart, Mu Qing-Xue  glanced at the cute twirls on the girl’s head, resisting the urge to rub her head and looked away.

    Ah, it’s really troublesome.

The influence of this little prey on her is really too great, even the self-control she has always been proud of has been broken because of her,  one after another.

Playing around with the pen tip, she left a complicated formula and various characters with clear handwriting on the notebook.

These extremely simple topics were originally just a pastime when she was bored, but at this time, they became her number one choice to distract herself.

At the end of the afternoon course, there are three periods for self-study.

You-You underwent from the starry-eyed look to being alert throughout the whole process, making her dizzy.

In the last self-study class, You-You looked at the papers that were placed on the desk, and the topics of the papers distributed by the representatives of various subjects were hard.

Oh, Bai Qu, come and save me, it’s terrible here.

No longer caring about Mu Qing-Xue being a top student, and Bai Qu keeping her away from this kind of people, You-You picked up the fountain pen and stretched her head towards Mu Qing-Xue, peeking at the problem she was writing. Placing the paper on top, You-You then began to skim through it, copying it intact without even leaving the punctuation marks.

Seeing this scene, Mu Qing-Xue didn’t say anything, but silently shifted the test paper closer to You-You, and accelerated her problem-solving speed.

She also added some ideas for solving problems that shouldn’t be there.

The two cooperated in this way, and a blank physics test paper was quickly filled up. You-You squinted her eyes in excitement, and didn’t think there was anything wrong. Instead, she sat in front of Mu Qing-Xue and drank water. When Wei Yang accidentally saw this scene, he was so startled that he almost didn’t swallow the water in his mouth.

    “Cough! cough! cough!”

A series of oppressive and uncomfortable coughs caused You-You, Mu Qing-Xue and Wei Yang’s deskmate Ji Lin to look at him at the same time.

Wei Yang pulled Ji Lin’s arm and motioned for him to look behind.

So the four of them stared at Wei Yang with big eyes.

“Ahem, hey, I want to copy too.”

Wei Yang, whose performance was almost the same as You-You’s, would not let go of this perfect opportunity to be lazy.

He has an arrogant face, as if he was certain that Mu Qing-Xue would let him copy her test paper: “Otherwise I will tell the teacher.”

    You-You, Mu Qing-Xue, Ji Lin: “….”

A strong, tall young man with a handsome appearance comparable to a sportsman, saying in a very proud tone “I will tell the teacher”, can really make someone speechless. You-You’s mouth twitched, feeling that Wei Yang is even more stupid than her.

After all, she would not say such shameless words.

“Alright, go and report as you like.”

He rolled his eyes unceremoniously, and You-You spit out sharply without mercy at all: “You’re so old, yet still go tattle to the teacher. Don’t you know how to be ashamed?”

“Then why aren’t you embarrassed to copy student Mu’s papers?”

Wei Yang, who was stunned by You-You, was not angry. He folded his hands around his chest and scanned her, with a playful tone: “Aren’t you as old as me?”

“I don’t know the shame of telling the teacher, what about copying homework?”

    “Is it shameful or not?”

Faulted by Wei Yang’s words, You-You pursed her lips and thought hard, and finally her cheeks bulged involuntarily.

The delicate and innocent-looking girl, when quiet and contemplative, her beauty was as astonishing as an ink painting.

The crow feather colored eyelashes, the dark and bright pupils, white glowing skin, naturally curled light tea hair, every part, every movement, every rendering outline, seems to be carefully carved and deeply engraved in people’s eyes.

Wei Yang’s body was stiff, and even Ji Lin, who had always been indifferent, couldn’t help squinting his eyes slightly, hiding the shock in his heart.

This school is a noble-style closed school, and the students in this class are the nobles among the nobles, except Mu Qing-Xue.

Unexpectedly, the little princess of the Bai family is really attractive. Wei Yang’s eyes showed interest, and his face showed a splendid color that did not fit his age.

Mu Qing-Xue naturally discovered Wei Yang and Ji Lin’s abnormality.

Seeing You-You’s ignorance, she didn’t know whether You-You was seducing or leading others on,  her heart became gloomy.

It’s really not good, who is she showing this ignorant expression of temptation?

Is it not enough to hook her?

She still wants to seduce and lure others?

Her hand lost strength, and suddenly the tip of the pen left a dot of ink on the neat and tidy test paper. Mu Qing-Xue frowned, looking at the test paper in a bad mood.

“Bai Qu said that girls can be unconditional and willful.”

    Especially her.

Therefore, finally knowing how to refute Wei Yang, You-You squinted at Wei Yang, who was very surprised, and calmly said:

    “I’m a girl, so I can, but you can’t.”

    Wei Yang: “….”

A good girl can be unconditional and willful.

This blatant sexism is really irrefutable.

Seeing that Wei Yang stopped talking, and turned back to the front in jealousy, You-You wanted to continue copying the papers, but when she looked at Mu Qing-Xue, she saw that she had already neatly put the papers, pens, and so on, away.

    “Top Student Qing-Xue?”

Why not let her copy it?

    “School is almost finished.”

In response to You-You’s silent accusation, Mu Qing-Xue said very calmly.

“Wait, do you want to copy papers in my dormitory, or yours?”

    “What?”

“If you finish these sets of papers tonight, you can play happily and without worries in the next two days. Don’t you want to do this?”

    Of course she did.

And if she doesn’t want to follow the plot, she has to frantically brush up on this person’s favorability, so in any case, she can’t let the intimacy opportunities pass her.

She has no reason to refuse.

In order to prevent herself from stepping into the derivative plot, being thrown into the sea to feed fish after death, she must choose to hold this person’s thigh. Fall in love with her, and strive to make Mu Qing-Xue like her instead of liking Qu Lan-Qin.

Thinking that Qu Lan-Qin wouldn’t appear in more than half a month, You-You nodded eagerly, for fear that this person would be snatched by Qu Lan-Qin if it was too late.

    “Come to my dormitory.”

She lives in a single dormitory, which is more conducive to fostering feelings.

    “Okay!”

Hearing the eagerness in her tone, Mu Qing-Xue only responded coldly on the surface, but she thought darkly in her heart: She really doesn’t know how to be ashamed.

What if another person says the same thing?

   Will she also eagerly agree?

And girls can be unconditional and willful, right…

Mu Qing-Xue hugged the sorted book materials in her arms, and smiled faintly after the school bell rang. Since she made such a laborious suggestion, how could she not do as she wished and waste this opportunity. Take the initiative to hook up.

Why is she so cold all of a sudden?

You-You suddenly shuddered while quietly packing her things up.

The summer night is also sultry and precipitous. There are many stars in the sky, and the entire sky is dotted with gorgeousness.

You-You looked up at the sky and realized for the first time that this is a different world. There is no dianthus (a type of flower), but only a small white flower heroine system named Xixi.

Bai You-You’s original single dormitory is decorated in a fantastic dreamlike way.

Looking at the bright red, pink and light red, and the obvious consternation on Mu Qing-Xue’s face, You-You twirled her hair awkwardly, and slammed the door shut to prevent being seen by a passing classmate, which would make her even more embarrassed.

The sound of the door closing snapped Mu Qing-Xue back to reality. She looked at You-You weirdly, her voice a little hesitant: “You, like this?” Although she herself hated this style especially, if You-You liked it, she wouldn’t find it unacceptable.

“Uh, do you want to hear the truth or lies.”

Mu Qing-Xue: “Of course, the truth.”

   “Yes, I like it.”

She also likes all kinds of pink and tender cute colors, but Bai Qu said that no matter whether it is a man or a woman in this world, few people like this color, so she can play around at home, but she must not tell her preference to other people.

Because others will think she has princess disease, and will think she is hypocritical.

    “Oh.”

Nodding to indicate that she understood, Mu Qing-Xue scrutinized the entire room, then walked straight to the table, put down everything in her hand, and signaled for You-You to come over: “Just finish the papers here.”

    “Okay, coming.”

Thinking of those papers, You-You immediately became energetic. She moved a chair and sat on Mu Qing-Xue’s left side. After thinking about it, she said dryly:

“In fact, I don’t like pink very much.”

    She wanted to cover up.

Slightly squinting her eyes, Mu Qing-Xue curled her lips in amusement. She seemed to be in a good mood.

She brushed over the questions very fast, and the silver-white fountain pen nib was jumping and spinning on the test paper, as if these questions were almost equal to one plus one in her eyes.

Physics, chemistry, mathematics, English, Chinese… You-You was surprised and admired the papers. She looked at Mu Qing-Xue and couldn’t help asking her: “Is there a computer in your brain? Otherwise, how could you know the answer without even using a calculator? You’re even better than Bai Qu.”

    “Bai Qu?”

After hearing this name the third time, Mu Qing-Xue thought twice as fast and asked You-You as she answered the questions: “Who is he? Your brother?”

“Yes, but when he teaches me, he uses a calculator.”

Then he is really inferior to me.

Nodding in relief, Mu Qing-Xue put down the pen with no ink left, and handed the last question she’d finished to You-You, and declared domineeringly:

“I will teach you from now on.”
